Hertha Berlin’s meteoric rise through the league has lifted the side currently into third position. Despite being the lowest scorers in the top six of the Bundesliga, the spirit and work rate of the side was evident in their recent 2-0 victory over Schalke; another side who find themselves competing for a Champions League place.
Opponents Ingolstadt have proved they’re no push overs in the top tier of German football, but a run of four consecutive draws suggests Hertha will have a tough task to breakdown the visitors.
Hertha Berlin have been impressive at home, losing just once in their last nine home games and another victory at odds of evens looks to hold plenty of betting value.

Bookies have given Hearts very good odds to make it five wins in a row this weekend in the Scottish Premiership.
Visitors St Johnstone sit 16 points behind their opponents and have lost five of their six games away from home.
Hosts Hearts boast a goal difference of +25 compared to St Johnstone’s of -2 and given the poor away form of the visitors, expect another away defeat for St Johnstone this weekend.

Sporting Gijon (8.50) v Atletico Madrid (1.53); Draw (3.60)
Sporting Gijon are joint bottom of La Liga and have a real scrap on their hands to survive. Recent form hasn’t shown that they’re capable of maintaining a fight either with four defeats out of four. They haven’t won since the end of January after a memorable win over Valencia and now face Atletico Madrid who are starting to show the form that made them champions in 2014.
Diego Simeone has never won admirers for his style of play, but they sit four points clear of Real Madrid in second place and are realistically the only side capable of catching Barcelona. They required penalties to progress into the quarter-finals of the Champions League midweek over PSV, but will have enough quality to take three points off Sporting Gijon.
