Weekend Football Tips – 14-15 September

Last weekend’s winning football tips on the England v Moldova returned a healthy profit here at Sportingly Better and this week we’ve scoured the European section of the betting slip to bring you the best weekend football tips, as Fiorentina host Cagliari.

Weekend Football Tips

Fiorentina (1.44) v Cagliari (7.00); Draw (4.33)

The Viola’s impressive attacking performance away at Genoa will have pleased manager Vicenzo Montella, with the partnership of Mario Gomez and Guiseppe Rossi looking considerably accomplished up front.

Fiorentina captain Manuel Pasqual remains the only doubt this weekend, but the defender may yet still play.

Fiorentina have won 10 of their last 11 matches at home against Cagliari in all competitions and the Viola should record another win on Sunday to ensure that the early optimism around Montella’s side continues.

Visitors Cagliari have failed to win any of their last seven matches away from home in Serie A, but the early form of Radja Nainggolan and Marco Sau in attack does offer some encouragement to the Rossoblu.

Cagliari could welcome back defender Davide Astori to the backline, but right back Francesco Pisano will miss out.

Goals could be likely this weekend, but Vicenzo Montella’s highly impressive side will need to go out and beat Cagliari if the Viola are to be considered as credible title challengers this season.

Recommended Bets
Fiorentina to win @1.44
Over 2.5 goals @1.66
Both teams to score @1.83
