Premier League Fantasy Football Tips – Gameweek 21

Gameweek 21 Fantasy Player Picks

GW21 (from): Friedel, Krul, Walker, Skrtel, Simpson, Richards, Evra, Valencia, Nani, Dempsey, Bale, Silva, Rooney, Aguero, Van Persie

Captain Choices

Wayne Rooney (MUN)

Wayne Rooney’s differences with the manager and the club seem to be buried, at least for now and the England striker bagged two goals in the FA Cup victory over Manchester City on the weekend. Opponents Bolton have shipped 19 goals away from the Reebok and Wayne Rooney usually goes on goalscoring runs when he starts scoring.

Other Contenders: Antonio Valencia, Nani

Sergio Aguero (MCI)

Despite the derby defeat in the FA Cup, Sergio Aguero was largely impressive. In the Premier League the Argentinean forward has scored 3 goals in 4 games including finding the back of the net last time out against Liverpool. Aguero has also picked up 5 bonus points in that run and should feature against Wigan despite the rotation policy of Roberto Mancini. The Latics have also conceded 20 goals at the DW Stadium this season.

Other Contenders: David Silva

Transfer Picks

Antonio Valencia (MUN) – 8.0m

With Manchester United’s personnel gradually returning, Antonio Valencia may find himself used further upfield in his more natural right wing position. Valencia is the most in-form midfielder in the Premier League with an incredible 8 assists in his last 6 games and the visit of Bolton at Old Trafford should see the Ecuadorian midfielder continue his creative influence for the Red Devils.

Craig Bellamy (LIV) – 7.4m

With Luis Suarez sitting out an 8 match ban and £35 million signing Andy Carroll still not favoured, Welsh forward Craig Bellamy could prove a fruitful pick for fantasy managers over the next couple of months. Bellamy has been used as a bit part player for Liverpool so far this season, with Kenny Dalglish quite rightly selecting the talents of the controversial Uruguayan striker, but Bellamy should feature more for the Reds over the next few gameweeks.
