Fantasy Football Tips – Gameweek 31

Manchester City’s David Silva was the highest point scorer in Gameweek 30, scoring in a 2-0 victory away at Hull.

Elsewhere Steven Gerrard scored twice as Liverpool beat Manchester United 3-0 at Old Trafford and Tomas Rosicky scored the only goal of the game as Arsenal beat Tottenham at White Hart Lane.

Sportingly Better picks out the best fantasy football tips for Gameweek 31, as Chelsea host Arsenal.

Arsenal, Everton, Hull, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Newcastle, Sunderland, Swansea and West Ham all feature twice during Gameweek 31.

Captain Choices

Luis Suarez (LIV)

Luis Suarez scored his 24th goal of the season, as Liverpool maintained their push for the Premier League title with a 3-0 victory away at Manchester United.

The Uruguayan striker has scored and assisted in both of the Reds previous two matches, having gone four games without a goal before that.

Suarez has already scored twice against both Cardiff and Sunderland in the reverse fixtures and the Premier League’s leading marksman should continue to extend his lead at the top of the goalscoring charts over the next few days.

Daniel Sturridge (LIV)

Daniel Sturridge failed to find the back of the net for the second successive match in the Premiership, as Liverpool came away with victory at Old Trafford.

The England international found plenty of chances on Sunday, but was unable to add to his tally of nine goals in nine Premier League appearances since the turn of the year.

Sturridge’s form against Sunderland in Gameweek 6 suggests the burgeoning talent is more than capable of adding to his tally of 18 goals this season as Liverpool continue to lay their claims down for the Premier League title.

Transfer Tips

Romelu Lukaku (EVE) – £8.6m

Romelu Lukaku made his first start in five games, as Everton beat Cardiff at Goodison Park.

Bluebirds goalkeeper David Marshall was crucial in keeping the Belgian striker at bay last weekend, but the on-loan Chelsea striker will be hoping for better fortune this time around with games against Swansea and Newcastle in Gameweek 31.

Lukaku has form against Newcastle having scored twice in the reverse fixture with the Magpies back in September and the Belgium international looks set to be fundamental to Roberto Martinez’s aspirations to finish in the top-six this season.

Wayne Rooney (MUN) – £11.4m

Wayne Rooney will be looking to score for the third match away from home in a row, as Manchester United face West Ham at Upton Park in the first of a double gameweek for the Red Devils.

The England international picked up two assists against the Hammers in the reverse fixture back in December, whilst the striker also grabbed a consolation goal in a 4-1 loss at the Etihad Stadium earlier in the season.

Manchester United’s victory in the Champions League on Wednesday will have likely buoyed the side and Rooney will be keen to give his side every chance of making a European place for next season.

Seamus Coleman (EVE) – £6.7m

Seamus Coleman’s injury-time winner proved crucial as Everton snatched all three points against Cardiff.

The Republic of Ireland international has scored more goals (6) than any other defender in the Premier League this season and the wing back will also be keen to add to his tally of 10 clean sheets this season.

Coleman scored against Swansea in the reverse fixture back in December and the in-form defender will be hopeful of recapturing that form this week.
