Fantasy Football Tips – Gameweek 21

Liverpool’s Daniel Agger was the highest point scorer in Gameweek 20, after nodding in the opener during the Reds 2-0 win over Hull.

Elsewhere Oscar scored his sixth goal of the season as Chelsea comfortably beat Southampton and Christian Eriksen scored a header as Tottenham inflicted Manchester United’s fourth Premier League defeat at home.

Sportingly Better picks out the best fantasy football tips for Gameweek 21, as Newcastle host Manchester City.

Captain Choices

Luis Suarez (LIV)

Luis Suarez scored his 20th goal of the Premiership campaign, with an exquisite free-kick during Liverpool’s 2-0 victory over Hull.

The Uruguay international was rested by Brendan Rodgers on the weekend, featuring for just 15 minutes as the Reds progressed in the FA Cup.

Suarez is the most in-form player in the Premier League and remains the overwhelming favourite at 1.10 to scoop the Golden Boot award.

Opponents Stoke have conceded nine goals in their last four games in the Premier League and the Uruguayan striker’s imperious form for Liverpool looks set to continue this weekend.

Eden Hazard (CHE)

Eden Hazard picked up his eighth assist of the season, supplying Oscar with a fine pass during Chelsea’s 3-0 win at St Mary’s Stadium.

The Belgium international has now scored or assisted in nine of the last 13 matches in the Premiership, form that has coincided with the Blues’ better consistency over the last couple of months.

Opponents Hull have failed to keep a clean sheet in 10 of their last 13 games in the league and Hazard’s increasingly influential performances for Chelsea look set to continue in Saturday’s early kick-off.

Transfer Tips

Adam Lallana (SOU) – £7.3m

New Year’s Day’s defeat against Chelsea halted Adam Lallana’s three match run of assists, as the Blues secured an easy win.

Three of Lallana’s four goals and three of Lallana’s six assists have come on the south coast and the England international will be looking to make home comforts count again with managerless West Brom the visitors this weekend.

The Baggies have not kept a clean sheet in any of their last six games on the road and Southampton’s most in-form player will be desperate to help haul his side back up the league table.

Christian Eriksen (TOT) – £7.2m

Christian Eriksen’s second half header proved crucial, as Tottenham defeated Manchester United at Old Trafford.

The Denmark international has been heavily favoured by new Spurs coach Tim Sherwood, fielding the former Ajax playmaker out wide on the left in an attacking 4-4-2 formation.

Opponents Crystal Palace have kept just two clean sheets away from Selhurst Park all season and Tottenham’s newly found impetus under Eriksen may flourish again this weekend.
