Fantasy Football Tips- Gameweek 20
The top form players leading into Gameweek 20 are:
1. Berbatov
2. Park
3. Nani
4. Nasri
5. Carroll
6. Etherington
7. Tim Cahill
8. Brunt
Fantasy managers should be aware of the upcoming 2011 Asia Cup in Qatar as a number of Premier League players are likely to be called up. The most noticeable future absentees will be Australian Tim Cahill from Everton and South Koreans Park from Manchester United and Lee from Bolton.
Potential transfer candidates this week are left wingers Chris Brunt of West Bromwich Albion and Matthew Etherington of Stoke. Both players are in form, with Brunt amongst the assists and Etherington amongst the goals recently for their clubs. Both players also have home games this week against poor travellers and teams on the slide in Fulham and Blackburn.
Birmingham normally keep it tight at St Andrews so I would advise against any captain choice involving a Man Utd player. Instead Carlos Tevez would be a good choice (Home to Aston Villa) as he looks to prove a point and repay the City faithful and is City’s main source of goals. Didier Drogba and his Chelsea side have a home tie against Bolton who rarely keep a clean sheet, likewise Torres or Gerrard should have an easier than usual time against bottom club Wolves. For a riskier choice Spurs midfielders van der Vaart, Bale or Modric might provide a more tempting offer who play Newcastle at White Hart Lane this gameweek.
