Fantasy Football Tips – Gameweek 30

Bournemouth’s Joshua King scored one goal and made another as the Cherries came away with a crucial 3-1 win at struggling Newcastle.

Sportingly Better picks out the best fantasy football tips for Gameweek 30, as  league leaders Leicester host troubled Newcastle.

Captain Choices

Sergio Aguero (MCI)

A penalty miss last time out, scuppered Sergio Aguero’s chances of walking away with the matchball, but the Manchester City forward was rightly highlighted as a fantasy football captain in Gameweek 29, with two goals in a comfortable 4-0 win over Aston Villa.

Aguero has scored nine goals in nine games in 2016 (more than any other Premier League player) and transfer ownership of the player should continue to grow given the Citizens push for the title.

Opponents Norwich have failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their last nine games and the form and mood of Aguero should see the striker continue his run at the Premier League Golden Boot.

Harry Kane (TOT)

Left on the bench in a resounding 3-0 defeat against Borussia Dortmund in the Europa League on Thursday, Tottenham striker Harry Kane will be thrown straight back in to the starting line-up as Mauricio Pochettino focuses his attention on the Premier League trophy.

The England international will be eager to add to his tally of 17 league goals this season, having scored six goals in his last eight games in the Premiership.

Opponents Aston Villa languish deep at the foot of the table and after scoring already in the reverse match at White Hart Lane, expect Kane to once again get amongst the goals this weekend.

Transfer Tips

Riyad Mahrez (LEI) – £7.3m

Leicester’s main protagonist once again proved his worth for the Foxes by scoring his 15th goal of the season as Claudio Ranieri’s side moved five points clear at the top.

Mahrez has now scored or assisted 26 goals in 28 appearances and continuous transfer talk involving a multi-million pound move to Barcelona in the summer appears to be gaining traction.

The Algeria international picked up an assist and three bonus points in the reverse fixture and given Newcastle’s woes and Leicester’s need for three points, expect Mahrez to once again be Leicester’s catalyst.

Charlie Daniels (BOU) – £4.9m

Wing back Charlie Daniels drilled in a stoppage time goal as Bournemouth picked up a valuable three points against struggling Newcastle.

The Cherries defender has now scored three goals and picked up five assists this season, including 17 bonus points and with few teams in action in Gameweek 30, Daniels remains an interesting transfer option with over 100,000 managers having transferred the in-form defender into their sides this weekend.
