European Football Tips For The Weekend 19th Feb & 20th Feb

Udinese are on a fine run of form. Unbeaten in 8 and winning 6 of these, Francesco Guidolin’s men have held AC Milan and have picked up very credible victories over Inter Milan and Juventus. Captain Antonio Di Natale is the main inspiration for Udinese having scored 3 goals in his last 2 outings. Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez, who has been linked with Manchester United in recent months is another obvious danger for Sunday’s opponents Brescia. Brescia currently occupy 18th place and have only won once away from home all season. Brescia lost the reverse in October and although Giuseppe Iachini’s side tend to keep it tight I fancy Udinese to come out on top at Stadio Friuli.

Udinese to win @ 1.40

9th placed Bundesliga side Nurnberg welcome Frankfurt to the Frankenstadion and go into Friday’s game into good form winning the last 3 games one of which  was against a very strong Bayer Leverkusen side. Dieter Hecking’s side relies heavily on good home form for their decent position in Germany’s top flight winning 7 out of 11 matches. It is fair to say that opponents Frankfurt have had a season of two halves so far. Up to the beginning of November Frankfurt had won 6 games, 4 of which came on the road. But since then they have managed just 2 wins and have only picked up 2 points away from home. Frankfurt are in a dire run of form and Nurnberg should add to this misery.

Nurnberg to win @1.95
