Villareal and a French Fancy in Football Betting Tips This Weekend
My tips this weekend comes after my midweek viewing of Thursday nights Europa league action on ITV4.
In the last game of the schedule Villareal took on Dinamo Zagreb who they duly dispatched at El Madigral 3-0, the same scoreline in which they secured an away win at Zaragoza. Villareal sit 3rd in La Liga and have won 4 in the last 6 in all competitions. Ironically their opponents Sevilla got roundly beaten by PSG in the earlier game. Sevilla have lost back to back games now with Getafe and Real Mallorca too and with injuries to Brazilian Luis Fabiano and Spaniard Jesus Navas, The Yellow Submarines look too strong against a Sevilla team that is showing signs of decline.

PSG looked strong up front and in particular Nene. 8 of PSGs 15 league games this season have gone over the 2.5 goals mark and curiously 4 of their 6 games immediately after European competition have also breached this point. 5 of PSGs last 6 games and 3 out of Brests last 4 games in all competitions have also eclipsed this mark. Both teams are at the right end of the table with only a point difference and should fancy giving it a real go.
