Premiership Betting Tips
Norwich (9.00) v Manchester City (1.36); Draw (5.50)
Title hopefuls Manchester City will be looking to bounce back from their first defeat at the Etihad Stadium this season, with a trip to Carrow Road on Saturday.
The Citizens sketchy away form has been long since eradicated with Manuel Pellegrini’s side having won each of their last four games on the road.
Leading goalscorer Sergio Aguero remains sidelined with a hamstring injury, but Stevan Jovetic’s return from a long lay-off should at least apply some pressure on fellow strikers Alvaro Negredo and Edin Dzeko over the next few weeks.
Midfielders Fernandinho and Samir Nasri remain unavailable for Manchester City, so the alarmingly error-prone Martin Demichelis is likely to partner Yaya Toure in the middle of the park.
Hosts Norwich fell to their twelfth defeat of the season, as goals from Craig Bellamy and Kenwyne Jones gave Cardiff a 2-1 victory in Wales.
The Canaries have won just one of their last nine games in the Premiership, but problems again remain in attack with Chris Hughton’s side, who have failed to find the net in four of their last eight games in the league.
Manchster City won 7-0 in the reverse fixture to take their tally to 27 goals against the Canaries in just six meetings and Manuel Pellegrini’s free-scoring side should bounce back with a bang against a timid Norwich side on Saturday.
