Premiership Betting Tips – 21-22 January

The early kick-off on Saturday is at Carrow Road, where the Canaries host Andre Vilas-Boas’ Chelsea side who have been boosted by the much needed defensive signing of Gary Cahill.

Chelsea have been much better defensively away from Stamford Bridge with 9 goals conceded, compared to the 16 goals shipped at home. Last time out Chelsea were fortunate to register their first clean sheet in 7 games against Sunderland, with Martin O’Neil’s side missing a hatful of chances. The return from injury of midfielder Michael Essien could prove as beneficial to the Blues as any new signing.

Norwich are riding high in the Premier League in 9th position and like Chelsea have won the last two games in the league. Paul Lambert’s side have not kept a clean sheet all season and have only failed to score twice this term. Welsh striker Steve Morison is in good form and Norwich have scored 17 goals already at Carrow Road this season and both teams should find the back of the net.

Both Teams to Score (Norwich v Chelsea v Sunderland) @1.72

Roy Hodgson’s West Bromwich Albion side have lost three games on the bounce and Baggies fans are looking down towards the foot of the table instead of the higher reaches of the English Premier Division.

Goals have also dried up with just one goal scored in the Baggies last 4 Premier League games. Injuries to Scharner, Brunt, McAuley, Shorey, Reid and Jones who have all played a decent amount of football this season will not help their chances with the visit to the Britannia Stadium on Saturday.

Stoke have lost just twice at home all season. Liverpool and Tottenham have both lost in the Potteries, whilst Manchester United and Chelsea have also been held. Stoke are undefeated in four games and have virtually a fully fit squad to choose from and should at least avoid defeat to West Brom this afternoon.

Stoke 0 Asian Handicap @1.50
