Premiership Betting Tips 26th-27th November

Andre Villas-Boas is a man under pressure at Stamford Bridge. Defeat in the Champions League against Bayer Leverkusen has dented Chelsea’s Champions League hopes, although the Blues know a win over an in-form Valencia side will be enough to seal their passage into the last 16.

Andre Villas-Boas will be looking for an immediate reaction from his players, with Michael Essien the only absence from an otherwise fully fit squad. Chelsea have scored in each of their last 6 games in all competitions, but the concern has been at the back with 10 goals conceded in just 5 games.

Opponents Wolves have lost 7 out of their last 9 games in the Premier League, a quite dreadful record and losing Stearman, O’Hara and Hunt for the trip to Stamford Bridge will certainly not help matters. Wolves similarly leak goals and have conceded 2 or more goals in 8 of their last 9 Premiership games and with Chelsea desperate to bounce back, goals again look likely.

Over 2.5 goals (Chelsea v Wolves) @1.50

Early season concerns over Arsenal and Arsene Wenger seem a long way away with the Gunners booking their place in the last 16 of the Champions League after an impressive 2-1 win over Borussia Dortmund.

In the Premier League, Arsenal have won the last 5 games on the bounce and have scored at least two goals in each one of these victories. The man leading that charge has been Dutch forward Robin Van Persie, who is quite rightly a short price to get on the scoresheet on Saturday.

Kieran Gibbs, Bacary Sagna and Jack Wilshere still remain sidelined, but otherwise Arsene Wenger has most of his squad available for selection. Opponents Fulham have Duff, Sidwell and Grygera ruled out with the Cottagers managing wins over QPR and Wigan only so far this season, but with Van Persie in devastating form, Arsenal look set to come out on top again against their London opponents.

Arsenal -1 Asian Handicap @1.70
