Opponents Everton have brought in Darron Gibson and Landon Donovan from the LA Galaxy during the January transfer window but the Toffees transfer policy has consistently been under the spotlight. Everton have scored an average of just 1 goal per game and in their last 9 Premier League games, only one game has finished with 3 goals or more. With both sides likely to want to avoid defeat, few goals are expected at Villa Park.
