Premiership Betting Tips – 14-15 December

A 1-1 draw at St Mary’s Stadium last weekend made it seven winners from our last 10 betting tips on the Premier League, as Manchester City were held by Southampton on the south coast.

Sportingly Better picks out the best  Premiership betting tips this weekend, as Chelsea host Crystal Palace.

Premiership Betting Tips

Chelsea (1.18) v Crystal Palace (19.00); Draw (8.00)

A surprise defeat at Stoke saw Chelsea slip to third in the league, as a 90th minute winner from Ousamma Assiadi secured the Potters all three points.

The Blues secured an unspectacular 1-0 win over Steaua Bucharest on Wednesday to wrap up top spot in Group E, with Demba Ba firing in an early winner.

Chelsea are undefeated in their last 16 games at home in the Premier League, a record Jose Mourinho would like to extend to mirror from his first spell in charge of the club.

The Blues have shipped six goals in their last two games in the Premier League, so the bet on Chelsea to win to nil at 1.80 may pose some risk, particularly with an increasingly fearless Palace side.

David Luiz should replace Gary Cahill at centre half, with the England international suffering from a thigh injury, with Cesar Azpilicueta continuing to displace Ashley Cole at left back.

The visitors have won three of their last four games in the Premier League, leaving renewed hope that Tony Pulis will again not be the manager of a relegated side.

Crystal Palace have been poor on their travels, losing six of their opening seven matches away from Selhurst Park and that record will need to improve if the Eagles are to continue flying in England’s top flight.

It’s been 31 years since Crystal Palace last won at Stamford Bridge and the hosts look poised to secure a badly needed win in the Premier League on Saturday.
