Premiership Betting Tips – 11-12 February
Back in October Newcastle and Tottenham played out a 2-2 draw and goals for both sides looks likely on Saturday.
Harry Redknapp’s Spurs side have only failed to score twice all season, one of which being the goalless draw at Anfield and Tottenham have scored an average of two goals a game at White Hart Lane this season. Van der Vaart has declared himself unavailable for the game on Twitter so Redknapp may choose a two-pronged attack up front with the likes of Adebayor and Defoe. Kaboul remains a doubt in defence so new signing Ryan Nelsen could feature in the absence of Gallas and Ledley King featuring for the full 90 minutes in each of the last three Premier League games.
The Toon Army will again get a chance to see the new look strike-force of Demba Ba and Papiss Cissé with both Senegalese strikers on the scoresheet in last weekend’s 2-1 victory over Aston Villa. Newcastle have scored nine goals in just five games on the road and with Tottenham scoring in every home match this season, both sides should ultimately find the net.
