After last weekend’s break for the FA Cup, the Premiership returns with Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea all hoping to continue their recent run of form in the league.

Chelsea’s Premier League title challenge continued to gather momentum, with an easy 3-0 victory against Southampton.
Goals have finally entered Jose Mourinho’s side, with midfielders Oscar and Eden Hazard leading the charge. Chelsea have scored two or more goals in eight of their last 10 matches in the Premier League and although veteran Frank Lampard will miss the match, midfield runner Ramires could be allowed greater freedom with the defensive-minded Mikel coming into the side.
Chelsea were 2-0 victors against Derby in the FA Cup last weekend and Mourinho’s use of the west London club’s squad should allow the Blues to be suitably refreshed for Saturday’s lunch time kick-off.
Eight of Chelsea’s last 10 matches in the Premier League have finished with three or more goals and despite Hull’s defensive resolution at the KC Stadium, the Blues will fancy their chances of stamping their mark on the match and moving temporarily top of the table.
Hosts Hull have won just one of their last seven games in the Premier League and the Tigers will need to be weary of falling further down the table after a fine start to the campaign.
Steve Bruce will be without Robbie Brady, Sone Aluko, Paul McShane and Matty Fryatt for Saturday’s clash at the KC Stadium, which has incredibly seen the joint-fewest home goals conceded with six.
Hull have not won any of their last six meetings with Chelsea and Saturday’s incentive to go top of the table should be too good for Jose Mourinho’s in-form side to pass up.
