Premiership Betting Predictions – New Years
Manchester United might be beset with injuries but the reigning Premier League champions, appear to show no ill effects going forward. The Old Trafford outfit have scored 4 or more goals in 3 of their last 4 games and with the likes of Rooney, Nani, Berbatov and Hernandez, Sir Alex Ferguson’s side seem more than capable of scoring a similar amount of goals again.
Opponents Blackburn produced a spirited display last time out against Liverpool, but Steve Kean’s side remain rooted to the foot of the table. Away from Ewood Park and Blackburn are yet to win a game of football, despite Liverpool being the only real test of note for Rovers so far this campagin. Last season’s 7-1 defeat in Manchester should serve as ample warning for Blackburn.
With United possibly being forced to field Antonio Valencia again at right back and Michael Carrick again at centre half, goals for both sides could be likely with Blackburn scoring at least once in every away game this season, but United are well in amongst the goals at present and that should continue again at Old Trafford on Saturday.
Over 3.5 Goals (Manchester United v Blackburn Rovers) @1.83
