Premier League Tips – 22-23 October

Another hugely profitable return last time out, saw all three advised selections land on Sportingly Better.

Backing in-form side Arsenal at home to Middlesbrough and opposing free-falling Hull City provide the betting angle for this weekends Premier League bets.

Football Betting Tips

Hull (3.10) v Stoke (2.50); Draw (3.30)

Hosts Hull are fresh off the back of a 6-1 thrashing at Bournemouth on Matchday eight, with Mike Phelan’s side continuing to be opposed on the football betting markets.

The Tigers will at least welcome captain Michael Dawson back to the fold this weekend, but Hull’s thread-bare squad appears to be falling apart.

A distinct lack of quality continues to be apparent with Hull having lost each of their last four games in a row, conceding 17 goals.

Visitors Stoke actually find themselves three places and one point below Hull in the table and the Potters are without an away win in seven matches.

‘Welsh Pirlo’ Joe Allen has scored in three consecutive games for the first time in his career and a 2-0 win against bottom side Sunderland at home won’t be proof that the Potters have turned a corner, even including victory away at Hull on Saturday.

Mark Hughes has never lost a match against Hull in the Premier League and the visiting manager does not look likely to lose that record this weekend.

Arsenal (1.25) v Middlesbrough (15.00); Draw (6.50)

In-form Arsenal will be looking to win their seventh consecutive Premier League match in a row with Middlesbrough the visitors to the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.

The Gunners come fresh off the back of a 6-0 battering of Ludogorets in the Champions League and now welcome a Middlesbrough side who have taken just two points from six games since beating bottom club Sunderland.

Boro have mustered just eight away shots on target all season and Aitor Karanka’s side go into the match with a historical head-to-head that has seen the north east side lose six of their last eight matches against Arsenal.

The hosts have the brilliant Theo Walcott in form, with the forward having scored five goals already this season; equaling the England international’s total goal tally for each of the last three seasons for Arsenal.

Manager Arsene Wenger celebrates his 67th birthday on Saturday and with Arsenal in relentless form the visitors are quite rightly priced as 14/1 outsiders.
