Premier League Tips – 17-18 September

The early Friday night game sees heavyweights Chelsea and Liverpool go head-to-head at Stamford Bridge, but Arsenal’s game away at Hull and Manchester United’s trip to Vicarage Road provide our Premier League bets weekend.

Football Betting Tips

Hull (6.00) v Arsenal (1.60); Draw (4.20)

Despite some abject performances, title hopefuls Arsenal go into this weekend on a four-match unbeaten run with back-to-back wins against Watford and Southampton propelling the north London club up the table

The Gunners somewhat fortunately came away with a point at PSG after a limp display in the Champions League during the week, with Alexis Sanchez grabbing the goal and it is the Chile international who will be the main danger for the Tigers, with Sanchez having scored four goals in his last four appearances against the hosts.

Manager Arsene Wenger favoured a more attacking selection away from home in the Premier League last time out against Watford and a similar selection and mentality may prove to be the case here.

Hosts Hull have continued to surprise expectations with early points and victories on the board and credit must go to Mike Phelan for galvanising the playing staff, despite a lengthy injury list.

Eleven of Arsenal’s 19 away matches last season went over the 2.5 goals mark and despite a few limp performances, the Gunners and Alexis Sanchez should fire the club to all three points this weekend.

Alexis Sanchez to score @2.40

Watford (6.00) v Manchester United (1.61); Draw (4.20)

A rather humbling week for Jose Mourinho’s side, Manchester United surrendered their 100% start to the season with a deserved loss at home to rivals Manchester City and a disappointing trip to Holland ended in defeat with a 1-0 defeat against Feynoord.

The Red Devils have been boosted by the brilliance of Zlatan Ibrahimovic so far this campaign, whilst Eric Bailly has proved to be a rock at the back for the title contenders.

Hosts Watford have conceded eight goals in the Premier League after four matches without keeping a single clean sheet and Walter Mazzari’s men will look to spring a surprise on the visitors with summer signing Robert Perrerya bedding in well.

The Hornets superb come back against West Ham at the Olympic Stadium after being two goals down, shows the resilience and quality in Watford’s ranks and visitors Manchester United will do good to keep that confidence at bay on Sunday.
