Premier League Tips – 13-14 February

This week our Premier League tips come from the Emirates Stadium as league leaders Leicester take on Arsenal and at Carrow Road as Norwich face West Ham.

Premier League Betting Tips

Norwich (2.37) v West Ham (3.25); Draw (3.40)

Norwich will be looking to arrest an alarming run of defeats, with the latest being a 2-0 defeat against bottom side Aston Villa.

Alex Neil’s side have lost their last six games in all competitions, conceding 19 goals and our antepost bet on Norwich to get relegated back in July, looks likely to gather some weight now.

Norwich will be without Alexandre Tettey who completes a two-game ban and Andrew Wisdom, but midfielder Graeme Dorrans should return from illness.

Opponents West Ham have picked up a bit of form since talisman Dimitri Payet has returned to the side and the midfielder has already penned a new deal at the club, despite joining in the summer.

Payet has created 66 chances for the Hammers this season (twice as many as any other West Ham player) and the former Marseille man has the quality and guile to carve open a Norwich backline that have the second worst defensive record in the division.

Norwich’s defensive frailties are likely to be exposed, especially from set-pieces and with Payet’s delivery on-show, expect the away side to come away with a result.

Arsenal (1.75) v Leicester (5.00); Draw (4.00)

Arsenal will be looking to close the gap on league leaders Leicester on Sunday, as the Foxes travel to north London.

Claudio Ranieri’s side have won 10 of their 16 matches away from home in the Premier League this season, and Leicester’s fitness levels, work rate and counter-attacking style make the club ideally suited when playing away from the King Power Stadium.

Leicester have recently showed a resolution at the back, keeping five clean sheets in their last seven league matches, but the unlikely central defensive pairing of Robert Huth and Wes Morgan will do extremely well to record another shut-out on Sunday.

Hosts Arsenal picked up a good 2-0 win away at Bournemouth last time out to end a four-game winless run and Arsene Wenger has no new injury worries ahead of this match.

The Gunners won the reverse fixture by 5 goals to 2 back in September and despite the Premier League leaders counter-attacking style, the home side should have too much for Claudio Ranieri’s side this weekend.
