Premier League Tips – 12-13 March
This week our Premier League tips come from East Anglia as title-chasing Manchester City visit Norwich and from the south coast and Bournemouth host Swansea.
Premier League Betting Tips
Norwich (5.50) v Manchester City (1.57); Draw (4.00)
Norwich City picked up yet another defeat in the Premier League, as Icelander Gylffi Sigurdsson gave Swansea a 1-0 win at the Liberty Stadium.
Alex Neal will be unrelenting in his demands from his players, but the Canaries were tipped on this site as a team that would get relegated in the ante-post betting markets before a ball was even kicked.
Norwich currently occupy the final relegation spot and although any result in the early kick-off on Saturday seems unlikely, home games against both Sunderland and Newcastle will be targeted as crucial matches in the clubs attempt at survival.
Visitors Manchester City bounced back from the midweek defeat to Liverpool with a comprehensive victory over Aston Villa last time out. Sergio Aguero’s missed penalty could have made it worse, but Manuel Pellegrini will be happy with his side’s second half performance in that match and their comfort in the Champions League, which could afford a few more favourable team selections.
Manchester City have won four out of the last five meetings in East Anglia, scoring 16 goals in the process and another high-scoring victory for the visitors remains a strong bet this weekend.

Manchester City to win AND over 2.5 goals @2.37
Bournemouth (1.90) v Swansea (4.00); Draw (3.40)
Bourmemouth gained a priceless 2-0 victory in the South-coast derby over Southampton and followed that up with a 3-1 win at Newcastle last time out.
The Cherries and Eddie Howe have proved successful so far in retaining their Premier League status, with the manager also having been dealt with long-term injuries to both Callum Wilson and Tyrone Mings this season.
Opponents Swansea picked up a narrow win over Norwich last time out, but the 2-1 win away at Arsenal gave the Welsh club enough points to pull them away from the relegation pack.
The last time these two sides met at the Vitality Stadium was back in 2007 when they clashed in League One, but the hosts enduring team spirit under Eddie Howe should sway the tie in Bournemouth’s favour.
