Premier League Predictions – 5th/6th November

Arsenal rested a number of first team regulars for the 0-0 Champions League draw against Marseille, and talisman and leading goalscorer Robin Van Persie looks set to start against West Brom at the Emirates.

Despite the concerns early in the season, the Gunners have been resurgent and prior to the draw midweek have won 5 games on the bounce and going back to the Carling Cup victory over Shrewsbury in September, Arsenal have picked up 8 wins in 10 games in all competitions.

Peter Odemwingie seemed isolated in the defeat at the Hawthorns against Liverpool last time out and the Nigerian striker is a doubt for Saturday’s game. Summer signing Shane Long is already ruled out and Somen Tchoyi may again be used in attack.

Arsenal have won 4 out of 5 at the Emirates this season and with the Baggies likely to be without their first choice strikeforce, Arsenal look set to continue their climb up the Premier League table.
