Premier League Fantasy Football Tips Gameweek 27

Birmingham, Newcastle, West Brom, Wolves, Arsenal, Stoke City, Blackpool and Tottenham all play twice in Gameweek 27.

Captain Choices

Robin Van Persie
Arsenal’s flying Dutch striker is still the most form player in the Premiership with 5 goals, 2 assists and 11 bonus points in his last 4 appearances for the Gunners. Arsene Wenger’s side have two home ties this gameweek against Wolverhampton Wanderers and Stoke City.

Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas is another contender and the Spanish international picked up an assist in the reverse at Molineux against Wolves. Fabregas has notched up 2 assists and 4 bonus points in his last 3 games and is creeping back to match fitness and form.

Rafael van der Vaart
Perhaps the signing of the season, Harry Redknapp’s Rafael van der Vaart could be a good choice for captain in Tottenham’s double fixture gameweek. Van der Vaart scored  last time out against Bolton and has scored against one of this gameweek’s opponents; Sunderland, earlier on in the season.

Transfer Options

Peter Odemwingie – 5.2m
West Brom striker Peter Odemwingie is the Baggies main goal getter and has grabbed 9 Premiership goals this season, with most of these coming at the Hawthorns. This gameweek West Brom and Odemwingie face Wolves and West Ham who the Nigerian striker has already scored against in the reverset Upton Park earlier in the season.

Theo Walcott – 7.1m
Again we have to highlight England winger Theo Walcott. Walcott is the most form player in the Premier League with 2 goals, 4 assists and 3 bonus points in his last 4 appearances.

Raul Meireles – 7.1m
Signed by Roy Hodgson, Portuguese midfielder  Raul Meireles has been one of Liverpool’s better performers this season. Meireles is in fine form recently with 4 goals, 1 assist and 9 bonus points in his last 5 games.

Charlie Adam 5.9m
At 5.9m Charlie Adam still represents somewhat of a fantasy bargain. This gameweek Blackpool play at Bloomfield Road twice and curiously against two of Charlie Adam’s suitors in Aston Villa and Tottenham.
