Premier League Fantasy Football Tips Gameweek 37

Gameweek 37 Player Choices

GW37 (from): Cech, Foster, Djourou, Luiz, Zabaleta, Vidic, Flanagan, Silva, Larsson, Lampard, Kuyt, N’Zogbia, Van Persie, Drogba, Fletcher

Captain Choices

Robin Van Persie
With 6 goals in his last 8 games, Robin Van Persie is a striker on top of his game right now. Coupled with 2 assists and 9 bonus points, Arsenal’s Dutch striker looks set to add to his Premier League haul of 19 goals. Aston Villa have not kept a clean sheet on the road all season and Van Persie looks best placed of all to keep that sequence going.

Frank Lampard
Sorely missed for a large part of the season, England midfielder has proved his worth since his return from injury. Frank Lampard has scored a goal in each of his last 3 games and racked up 4 bonus points in that time too. Lampard did miss the reverse earlier on in the season against opponents for this gameweek Newcastle.

Malouda is another player in form for Chelsea and managed an assist against Newcastle in the 1-1 draw played out back in November. Malouda has bagged 3 goals in his last 4 games along with 5 bonus points and is assured of a starting place in Carlo Ancelotti’s midfield having played the majority of Chelsea’s last 8 games.

Dirk Kuyt
Fantasy managers simply have to consider Dirk Kuyt for the captain’s armband. The Dutchman has netted 9 times in his last 8 Premier League games contributing with 3 assists and 11 bonus points. Liverpool do play at Anfield, but have a tricky tie against Tottenham who beat them earlier on in the season, but Kuyt is in imperious form.

Transfer Options

Peter Odemwingie – 5.7m
A sour note for West Brom and some dire defending in their last match against bitter rivals Wolves, but this didn’t stop Nigerian Odemwingie from again scoring. Odemwingie has now scored 6 goals in his last 7 games and 4 assists and 8 bonus points have also been added to the Baggies striker’s total in recent weeks.

Steven Fletcher 4.7m
Hitting form at just the right time is Scottish striker Steven Fletcher. With Doyle and Ebanks-Blake missing Fletcher has stepped up just at the right time and has scored 4 goals in his last 4 games. Fletcher has also made a goal and collected 6 bonus points in that sequence.

Charles N’Zogbia – 5.5m
Still valued at 5.5m N’Zogbia is an excellent transfer choice in Gameweek 37. Wigan’s French midfielder has now scored 3 goals, made a further two and picked up 4 bonus points in his last 4 games. Another player getting himself in form for a side who are desperately battling the drop. N’Zogbia picked up assist points in the reverse against West Ham who are opponents this weekend in Gameweek 37.
