Premier League Fantasy Football Tips Gameweek 36

Manchester City and Tottenham both play twice in Gameweek 36.

Captain Choices

Robin Van Persie
Buoyed by a vital win over Manchester United, Arsenal will look to build on their title charge away at Stoke. Van Persie has an encouraging away goalscoring sequence having  scored in Arsenal’s last 6 away games. It is also worthy to note that Van Persie is in decent goalscoring form having scored 4 goals, claimed 2 assists and picked up 7 bonus points in his last 5 games for the Gunners.

Rafael Van der Vaart
It is no coincidence that goals have been flying in more than usual for Spurs since the return to action of Van der Vaart. The Dutchman has grabbed 2 goals and assisted twice in his last 3 games, collecting 3 bonus points along the way and looks set to feature in Tottenham’s double gameweek with a home tie against Blackpool and a crucial away match against Manchester City.

David Silva
Similarly to Tottenham, Manchester City have a double gameweek and no player is in better form for Roberto Mancini currently than Spanish international David Silva. Despite only 1 assist and 3 goals in his last 8 games, Silva has earned 7 points in his and Manchester City’s last 4 games his performances have merited.

Dirk Kuyt
Special mention again must go to Dirk Kuyt. Kuyt has now scored 8 goals in 7 games as well as not forgetting 3 assists and 10 bonus points. Fantasy managers will have to wait until Monday however, as Liverpool play at Craven Cottage to take on Fulham.

Transfer Options

Peter Odemwingie – 5.6m
Odemwingie as well as Hodgson continue to impress for the Baggies. This weekend a tasty Black Country Derby with Wolves awaits, but no player is in better form from either side than Peter Odemwingie. The Nigerian striker has scored 5 goals in his last 6 games including  4 assists and 8 bonus points.

Darren Bent – 9.3m
The former Sunderland striker has been sorely missed by the Black Cats and the England striker has been in encouraging form. Bent is a proven goalscorer in the Premier League and has shown this yet again in recent weeks with 4 goals in his last 5 games. Aston Villa face Wigan Athletic at Villa Park in Gameweek 36.

Charles N’Zogbia – 5.5m
Wigan will look again to get some sort of positive result to avoid the drop as they travel to Villa Park to face Aston Villa. In the influential Frenchman’s last 3 games for the Latics, N’Zogbia has scored 2 goals, made a further 2 and also collected 2 bonus points.
