Premier League Fantasy Football Tips Gameweek 34
Stoke City, Wolves, Fulham and Bolton all play twice in Gameweek 34.
Captain Choices
Didier Drogba
With Carlo Ancelotti now bold enough to bench an out of form Torres, Ivorian Didier Drogba has been given more of a run in the side. Drogba has played most of Chelsea’s last 4 games and has picked up 2 goals, 3 assists and 7 bonus points along the way. Chelsea’s opponents this gameweek are West Ham and Drogba picked up a goal and a bonus point in the reverse back in September.
As highlighted in last week’s post Florent Malouda is a worthy attacking captain choice . The French midfielder is beginning to get back to the form witnessed at the beginning of the season and Malouda has scored 3 goals, made 1 assist and collected 4 bonus points in his last 3 games.
Wayne Rooney
Rooney recently returned back to first team action after serving his two match ban, although did look out of sorts midweek against Newcastle spurning a number of chances. Rooney faces his former club Everton in gameweek 34 and will look to help his team win the Premiership title.
Nani has been in creative mood all season for Manchester United contributing with 18 assists. Nani made 2 goals last time Manchester United and Everton met back in September, picking up 3 bonus points in the process. Nani has assisted 3 times and collected 5 bonus points in his last 4 games.
Dirk Kuyt
Kuyt has been Liverpool’s best player for the last couple of months. The Dutchman has scored 6 goals in 5 games including an assist and 8 bonus points. Despite the return of Carroll, Kuyt has rightly kept himself in the team and will fancy his chances of adding to an impressive recent fantasy points haul as Liverpool face Birmingham at Anfield.
Andy Carroll has recently returned from injury and has carried on his goalscoring habit at Newcastle with new club Liverpool. Carroll scored twice last time Liverpool played at Anfield and is a snip at 6.4m.
Transfer Options
Daniel Sturridge – 5.4m
With Bolton playing twice in Gamweek 34 (Arsenal [H],Fulham [A]), on loan Chelsea striker Sturridge is a stand-out choice and a great third striker option for fantasy managers. Sturridge has scored 6 goals in his last 8 games and also added 12 bonus points to his fantasy points tally.
Jonathan Walters – 5.5m
Walters has been performing well in a Stoke side buoyant after their FA Cup semi-final demolition of Bolton. Walters has scored 2 goals, assisted twice and picked up 5 bonus points in his last 3 games. This gameweek Stoke face Aston Villa away and also host Wolves at the Britannia.
Bobby Zamora – 6.0m
Bobby Zamora is edging back to fitness and played the full 90 minutes last time out against Manchester United. Fulham’s last home game saw Zamora score twice and the English striker has scored 3 goals and made an assist in his last 4 games collecting 3 bonus points, although Zamora has only played just over 200 minutes in that time. This week Fulham face Wolves at Molineux followed by hosting Bolton at Craven Cottage.
