0Fantasy Football Tips – Gameweek 12
Newcastle’s Daryl Janmaat picked up two assists as the Toon Army came away with a 2-0 win at the Hawthorns, whilst a brace from Sergio Aguero was not enough for Manchester City to claim victory last time out.
Sportingly Better picks out the best fantasy football tips for Gameweek 12, as Arsenal host Manchester United.
Captain Choices
Diego Costa (CHE)
Summer signing Diego Costa quickly returned back to the scoresheet after failing to net against QPR in Gameweek 10.
Chelsea’s leading front man has scored 10 goals in the Premier League in just nine appearances, but persistent hamstring problems will need to be well managed by Jose Mourinho if the Blues are going to maintain their strong start to the season.
Chelsea have scored at least two goals in five of their last six games in all competitions and the Spanish striker should continue his goalscoring run for the club after sitting out the international break through injury.
Sergio Aguero (MCI)
Two goals from Sergio Aguero twice denied QPR victory last time out as champions Manchester City fell eight points behind leaders Chelsea.
The Argentina international has already scored 12 goals for the Citizens, with nine goals coming in his last six goals for the club, with the striker expected to lead the line again with Edin Dzeko out injured.
Opponents Swansea are fresh on the back of three points against Arsenal, but the Premier League’s leading marksman will be tough to contain for the Swans on Saturday.
Transfer Tips
Fraser Forster (SOU) – £5.3m
Fraser Forster helped Southampton to their fourth consecutive clean sheet in the Premiership after a 2-0 victory over Leicester.
The England international has kept a total of seven clean sheets for the south coast side after featuring for the club in every match this season.
Opponents Aston Villa have failed to score in six of their last seven matches in the Premier League and Forster looks well poised to keep another shut-out on Monday night.
Alexis Sanchez (ARS) – £10.9m
Alexis Sanchez scored for the fourth consecutive match in a row as Arsenal fell to a 2-1 defeat against Swansea.
The Premier League’s most in-form player has raced up to eight goals for the Gunners and the arrival of Danny Welbeck has seemed to have complimented the Chile international’s fast-paced style of play compared to that of previous attacking partner Olivier Giroud.
Opponents Manchester United have failed to win any of their last seven matches away from home in the Premier League and the visitors continuing injuries at the back should make Sanchez a betting favourite to add to his tally this weekend.
