Fantasy Football Tips – Gameweek 10

Robin Van Persie’s injury-time equaliser denied Premier League leaders Chelsea all three points at Old Trafford.

Elsewhere Manchester City slipped to a surprise 2-1 defeat at West Ham, whilst Southampton maintained their impressive form in the Premiership with a 1-0 win over Stoke.

Sportingly Better picks out the best fantasy football tips for Gameweek 10, as Manchester City host Manchester United.

Captain Choices

Diego Costa (CHE)

After sitting out the two previous games for Chelsea, star striker Diego Costa has been declared fit by Jose Mourinho for the home game against QPR in Gameweek 10.

Costa’s return will see the striker look to reach double figures in the Premier League, after just seven starts in the division since his move from Atletico Madrid over the summer.

Opponents QPR have conceded at least two goals in each of their last four games away from home and Saturday’s trip to Stamford Bridge should see the Premier League leaders reaffirm their position at the top of the table, with Costa likely to build on his early rapport with compatriot Cesc Fabregas.

Alexis Sanchez (ARS)

Alexis Sanchez capitalised on some dreadful defending by scoring twice, as Arsenal defeated Sunderland 2-0 at the Stadium of Light.

The Chile international has racked up 29 points over the last two gameweeks in the Premier League and signs of a consistent return are beginning to come to fruition for manager Arsene Wenger, after starting six games for the north London side.

Opponents Burnley have conceded at least two goals in each of their last four matches in the Premier League, and the pace, interchange and dynamism in the Arsenal front line should see the Gunners and Sanchez ease to victory.

Transfer Tips

Saido Berahino (WBA) – £5.9m

West Brom striker Saido Berahino scored for the fourth successive gameweek, as the Baggies pulled two goals back against Crystal Palace last weekend.

The English striker’s goal has now seen the forward score seven goals in the Premier League, whilst manager Alan Irvine has yet to drop the promising attacker from his line-up this season.

Opponents Leicester have suffered a dip in form recently and the leading English scorer looks well set to continue his goalscoring return for the Baggies this weekend.

Graziano Pelle (SOU) – £8.3m

Two goals against Stoke in the Capital One Cup helped the Saints into the next round, as Ronald Koeman’s summer signing continued to impress in England.

Last weekend’s strike against the post at St Mary’s Stadium was followed up by Saido Mane, as Southampton maintained their run of form in the Premier League.

Six goals, three assists and nine bonus points has left the Italian striker catching much attention and with the Saints having won six of their last seven matches, expect Pelle to shine again on Saturday.
