Premier League Betting Tips – 22nd Jan – 24th Jan

With an increasingly busy January Transfer Window many clubs are looking to establish their credentials, either to survive in the Premier League or as genuine title contenders.

West Ham are one such team in danger of losing their Premiership status and face an away trip to Goodison Park. Despite not having a proven goalscorer amongst their ranks, Everton have still managed to score in every Premier League game bar one since the end of September. David Moyes men however also have a tendency to concede at the other end and 12 of their last 14 Premier League matches have finished with both teams scoring.

Both teams will be targeting a positive outcome, so expect goals. But there is a tendency for both teams to score in this fixture including the last 6 head to head meetings and the 1-1 draw at Upton Park back in December.

Both teams to score (Everton v West Ham) @1.9

Arsenal seem to have their big guns finally fit and available and seem to be playing well at both ends of the pitch, keeping 3 clean sheets in their last 3 Premier League games. Wigan are the visitors at the Emirates who score less than a goal on average per game so far this season and have not won in 4 Premiership matches. Van Persie, Walcott, Nasri and Fabregas are all likely to play a part in a fixture that has seen Arsenal win all of the 8 previous meetings at home. Indeed Arsenal have won the last 5 meetings at home to nil, but as Bradley Johnson showed for Leeds in the cup goals are always possible even amongst increasingly assured defences so the smart move in this game is on the handicap.

Arsenal -1 @1.6
