Premier League Betting Tips – 21-22 November

A winning display by Manchester United last weekend saw our Premier League bets produce a good return before the international break.

This week our Premier League tips come from The Hawthorns as West Brom host Arsenal and from St James Park as high-flying Leicester take on Newcastle.

Premier League Betting Tips

West Brom (6.50) v Arsenal (1.50); Draw (4.33)

Confidence may be slightly draining away from Arsenal after the hammering against Bayern Munich in the Champions League, with proceedings hardly helped by a poor performance in the North-London derby.

The international break may have arrived at a good time for Arsene Wenger’s side who may have gave some of his injured stars the chance to recover in time for the trip to the Hawthorns.

Hosts West Brom claimed back-to-back victories against Sunderland and Norwich City last month to move away from the drop zone, but the Baggies have now suffered two defeats in succession against Leicester City and Manchester United.

Tony Pulis will be worried at the lack of goals his side are creating and the West Midlands club find themselves as the joint lowest scorers in the league alongside Stoke City and Aston Villa.

Opponents Arsenal have a good recent head-to-head record against and the Gunners could find themselves momentarily top of the league with any form of positive result at West Brom this weekend.

Newcastle (2.80) v Leicester (2.50); Draw (3.40)

Leicester continue to defy all the odds this season and it is no surprise that they sit as high as third in the league after a sensational start.

Jamie Vardy is looking to join Ruud Van Nistelrooy in the record books by scoring in 10 consecutive Premier League matches but Vardy had Riyad Mahrez to thank in his last fixture, as the midfielder sacrificed personal glory by allowing his teammate to take the penalty against Watford which proved to be the decisive winner.

Newcastle United’s camp will be very sombre after the Paris attacks last Friday with a number of Newcastle’s players brought up in France. Moussa Sissoko was part of the French national squad that was playing in the Stade de France stadium when the bombs detonated outside and being one of his side’s most influential players, whether he’ll be mentally ready to face Leicester will be apparent on Saturday afternoon.

The home side traditionally copes much better in this fixture, but given the two contrasting positions in the league table it is hard to see Claudio Ranieri’s side not maintain their extraordinary form.

Hosts Leicester have lost the last five fixtures at St.James Park, but the Foxes will be heading to Newcastle with sky-high confidence, as Jamie Vardy looks set to continue his hugely impressive goalscoring run.
