After more than seven years in the Potteries, Stoke manager Tony Pulis has left his post at the Britannia Stadium following an end of season review with chairman Peter Coates.

Sportingly Better analyses the best value football predictions and betting tips on who will be the next manager at Stoke.

Next Manager Betting Odds – Stoke

Mark Hughes – 4.00
Roberto Di Matteo – 8.00
Gus Poyet – 8.00
Rafa Benitez – 11.00
Roberto Martinez – 15.00
Martin O’Neill – 19.00
Phil Neville – 23.00
Steve Bould – 26.00
Neil Lennon – 29.00
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer – 29.00
Steve Bruce – 29.00

Mark Hughes currently leads the football betting markets at odds of 4.00 and the former Wales manager will be looking to rebuild his reputation in the Premier League following his dismissal from QPR in November.

Hughes covers the remit of having experience in the top flight following spells with Blackburn Rovers, Manchester City, Fulham and QPR and Stoke’s increased transfer budget for 2013-2014 is expected to appeal to the Welsh coach.

Another manager in the frame is former Sunderland manager Martin O’Neill, who was rumoured to have been sounded out by Stoke chairman Peter Coates last month as the man to replace Tony Pulis.

It is unclear whether the Northern Irish manager will be looking to make a move back into management so soon after being sacked by the Black Cats, but the former Celtic boss does carry plenty of experience in the Premier League.

Elsewhere FA Cup winning manager Roberto Martinez is set to announce a decision on his future in the next 24 hours and although the highly-rated Spanish manager is expected to leave the DW Stadium, a move to Premier League rivals Everton seems more likely.

The likes of Roberto Di Matteo (8.00) and Rafa Benitez (11.00) are interesting propositions, but both managers are thought to be after more prestigious roles, with the latter currently linked with a move to Napoli following Walter Mazzari’s decision to leave the Italian club last week.

With an early appointment likely to be made, Martin O’Neill’s current availability makes the former Sunderland manager the best value bet to take over from Tony Pulis at the Britannia Stadium.

Recommended Bets
Martin O’Neill to be the next manager of Stoke at 19.00
Mark Hughes to be the next manager of Stoke at 4.00
