Midweek Champions League Betting Tip 18th & 19th October

Chelsea face Racing Genk in the Champions League and Andre Villas-Boas will be targeting all three points to cement their position at the top of Group E. Genk currently occupy 9th position in the Eerste Klasse and have conceded 10 goals in just 5 away games domestically. Away in Europe Genk lost 2-0 to Bayer Leverkusen and Chelsea should at least match that feat on Wednesday.

Elsewhere AC Milan look set to build on the victory over Plzen with BATE Borisov the visitors to the San Siro. Milan have scored 2 goals in both Champions League games so far including 2 goals at the Nou Camp last month. A 3-0 victory last time out against Palermo will have buoyed Massimiliano Allegri’s side and Milan should manage at least a couple of goals against BATE who conceded 5 goals last time out against Barcelona.

Manchester United have been far from convincing so far and will need to put in a good performance against Otelul Galati on Tuesday. United are arguably lucky to have picked up a point in both games and will have to show an improved performance against the Romanian side currently sitting in 9th position.
