Midweek International Football Betting Tips – 17th Nov

Spain make the short trip to Portugal in a friendly that has been arranged to promote the joint bid for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Fernando Torres is starting to get back amongst the goals and with Fernando Llorente fairing well domestically (plus of course David Villa), Spain are likely to find the back of the net.  Spain however have conceded in the last 3 games and 2 of these were at the hands of Scotland and Lithuania. Portugal are back amongst the goals and more importantly Cristiano Ronaldo is for new coach Paolo Bento. Over 2.5 goals at 2.15 looks a good bet, as the last 4 matches for Spain and 3 of the last 4 matches for Portugal have all exceeded this mark.

Both teams to score @1.83

Denmark qualified comfortably for South Africa 2010 in a group which also contained Portugal and Sweden. Denmark largely still have the same squad and group of players, although currently find themselves 3rd in Group H. Denmark have a good home record in qualifying and will see no reason to relinquish this in tomorrows friendly against a shot shy Czech team who despite two wins have put in unconvincing performances against the likes of Liechenstein and Scotland and also suffered a surprise loss against Lithuania at home.

Denmark to win @2.4

At Wembley, France travel across the Channel facing an injury plagued England squad that includes a host of new faces and a mix of youth, experience and the odd rookie. Reports suggest that Joe Hart could miss out as he is being assessed by doctors, which would be a big blow as England look increasingly safe with him between the sticks. France have won the last 3 games all 2-0 and are beginning to put their disastrous FIFA World Cup 2010 behind them under new manager Laurent Blanc. France have a good record against England having not lost since Le Tournoi. Anytime scorers on Gourcuff and Remy also look like good value bets who have hit the back of the net in recent victories.

England NOT to have a Clean Sheet @1.5
