Accumulator Tips

Czech Republic (1.40) v Armenia (9.00); Draw (5.00)

The Czech Republic will be looking to improve their chances of a World Cup play-off place on Friday, when Armenia visit Prague.

Bulgaria’s match with Italy in Palermo provides the Czech Republic with plenty of opportunity to overtake their European rivals in Group B, with the likes of  Matej Vydra and Libor Kozak both pushing for starts.

Visitors Armenia have only conceded one goal away from home during their 2014 World Cup qualifiers and Vardan Minasyan’s men produced the shock result of the round in June following a 4-0 away win in Denmark.

The Czech Republic have won all three of their meetings against Armenia with an aggregate score of 10-1 and although the difference in quality between the two sides has narrowed in recent years, the home side look well poised to pick up a vital three points on Friday.

Scotland (5.50) v Belgium (1.72); Draw (3.75)

Group leaders Belgium have already secured qualification from Group A, but Marc Wilmot’s side will be eager to wrap up top spot and avoid dropping into the play-offs.

Joint Premier League top goalscorer Christian Benteke is expected to lead the line, with Chelsea pair Eden Hazard and Kevin De Bruyne offering support in attack for the Aston Villa striker.

Hosts Scotland have seen Allan McGregor, George Boyd, Graham Dorrans and James Morrison all withdraw from Gordon Strachan’s squad and any further injuries could see Belgium’s betting odds fall even shorter.

Belgium have won six of their seven qualifying matches in Group A and the visitors winning mentality looks set to continue on Friday.

Italy (1.40) v Bulgaria (10.00); Draw (4.75)

Italy will be looking to take a giant step towards qualification this weekend, when second placed Bulgaria travel to Palermo.

Just four points separate the two sides in Group B and the Azzurri will know that a win against Bulgaria could see them secure automatic qualification for the 2014 World Cup.

Strikers Mario Balotelli and Pablo Osvaldo are both suspended for the match, so AC Milan striker Stephane El Shaarawy could figure for Cesare Prandelli’s side.

Italy will be eager to maintain their 100% qualification record at home in the qualifiers and the Azzurri look set to secure their place in Brazil this weekend.
