Fantasy Football Tips – Gameweek 36

Liverpool’s Raheem Sterling was the highest point scorer in Gameweek 35, scoring twice during the Reds 3-2 victory at Carrow Road.

Elsewhere Leighton Baines scored his fifth goal of the season as Everton beat Manchester United and Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey had a hand in all three goals as the Gunners won 3-0 against Hull.

Sportingly Better picks out the best fantasy football tips for Gameweek 36, as Liverpool host Chelsea.

Captain Choices

Sergio Aguero (MCI)

Sergio Aguero’s first-half strike fired the Citizens to a 3-1 victory at the Etihad Stadium on Monday, as Manchester City maintained their faint hopes of catching league leaders Liverpool.

The Argentina international featured for just over an hour in that match since returning from injury, with the forward having picked up back-to-back assists in his last two appearances for the club.

Opponents Crystal Palace have kept a clean sheet in five of their last seven matches in the Premier League, but the return and form of Aguero could push Manchester City towards another end-of-season final day climax.

Luis Suarez (LIV)

Luis Suarez scored his 29th goal of the season, as Liverpool edged closer to the Premier League title.

The Uruguay international has either scored or assisted in 27 out of 30 appearances for Liverpool this year and the striker will be keen to take a giant step towards the Premiership crown, with Chelsea the visitors to Anfield on Sunday.

Suarez picked up an assist in the reverse fixture back in December and with injuries to Petr Cech and John Terry, expect the Premier League’s leading marksman to continue his assault in the English top flight this season.

Transfer Tips

Aaron Ramsey (ARS) – £7.2m

Aaron Ramsey will be bidding to secure Arsenal a top-four finish in the Premier League this year, after playing a starring role in the Gunners 3-0 victory at Hull last weekend.

The Wales international could prove the difference for Arsene Wenger’s side in the double-pivot during the final few weeks of the season, with the former Cardiff player eager to sign off the campaign in style, in what has been a breakthrough season for the Arsenal midfielder.

Opponents Newcastle have lost each of their last five matches in the Premier League and Arsenal’s recently returned star should continue to show his worth for the Gunners this season.

Christian Eriksen (TOT) – £7.2m

Christian Eriksen became the Premier League’s most in-form player, after picking up two assists as the Lilywhites defeated Fulham 3-1 at White Hart Lane.

The Danish playmaker’s end-of-season form has seen the midfielder return four goals and five assists in just five Premiership games; form that is likely to draw yet more suitors over the summer.

Opponents Stoke have lost just one of their last eight matches in the league, but Tottenham’s increasingly influential midfielder has all the quality and potential to dent the Potters recent form.

Raheem Sterling (LIV) – £6.0m

Raheem Sterling took his tally to nine Premier League goals for the season, following a brace in a 3-2 victory at Carrow Road.

Sterling has started in each of the last four games for the Reds and the fleet-footed midfielder looks poised to play a significant role for Brendan Rodgers’ side as Liverpool look to secure the Premier League title.

Opponents Chelsea are expected to make significant changes on Sunday and Liverpool’s high-flying midfielder looks well placed to continue his recent goalscoring run.
