Fantasy Football Tips – Gameweek 35

Crystal Palace’s Jason Puncheon was the highest point scorer in Gameweek 34, scoring in the Eagles victories over Aston Villa and Everton.

Elsewhere Connor Wickham scored twice as Sunderland held Manchester City and Erik Peters scored his first Premier League goal this season as Stoke beat Newcastle.

Sportingly Better picks out the best fantasy football tips for Gameweek 35, as Everton host Manchester United.

Captain Choices

Luis Suarez (LIV)

Luis Suarez will be looking to looking to help edge his side closer to the Premier League title, with a trip to Carrow Road on Sunday.

Suarez has now gone two games without a goal, but the division’s top marksman has managed to pick up assists in 11 of the last 12 gameweeks.

The Uruguay international holds a terrific record against Norwich, having fired four goals against the side in the reverse fixture this season, whilst back-to-back hat-tricks in 2012 illlustrates the striker’s recent form against the Canaries.

Opponents Norwich have failed to keep a clean sheet in seven of their last nine matches and the Premiership’s most in-form striker looks set to continue his goalscoring exploits against the East Anglia side.

Sergio Aguero (MCI)

Sergio Aguero will be looking to fire Manchester City back in the title race, with West Brom the visitors to the Etihad Stadium on Monday.

The Argentina international has been carefully managed on his return to fitness, but coach Manuel Pellegrini will need to gamble and start the striker especially given the injury to Yaya Toure in midfield.

Aguero was on target for Manchester City in the reverse fixture back in December and the Citizens will be keen to avoid any more slip-ups against the Baggies; who have kept just two clean sheets in their last 23 games in the Premier League.

Transfer Tips

Christian Eriksen (TOT) – £6.9m

Christian Eriksen continued his fine end-of-season form for Tottenham, after rescuing a point in a 3-3 draw at the Hawthorns.

The Premier League’s most in-form player has had a hand in seven goals for Spurs in the last four gameweeks (scoring four goals) and the Danish playmaker could well be placing himself on many transfer wishlists next season given his recent exploits for the club.

Opponents Fulham endure the worst defensive record in the division and Tottenham’s best bit of business last summer should continue to show his worth against the Cottagers this weekend.

Mohamed Salah (CHE) – £5.5m

Mohamed Salah will be looking to score his third goal in five appearances, after striking the post against Swansea last weekend.

The Egypt international remains ineligible for the Champions League after turning out for Basel earlier in the competition, so a third consecutive start for Chelsea in the Premiership looks a distinct possibility on Saturday.

Opponents Sunderland have kept just one clean sheet in their last nine games and the Premier League’s bottom side could find the finishing of the Egyptian less forgiving this weekend.
