Fantasy Football Tips – Gameweek 33

Swansea City’s Jonathan De Guzman was the highest point scorer in Gameweek 32, scoring twice in a 3-0 victory over Norwich at the Liberty Stadium.

Elsewhere Adam Lallana scored for the second time in as many weeks as Southampton thrashed Newcastle, whilst Wayne Rooney maintained his impressive run of form by scoring twice in a 4-1 victory at Old Trafford.

Sportingly Better picks out the best fantasy football tips for Gameweek 33, as Everton host Arsenal.

Captain Choices

Luis Suarez (LIV)

Luis Suarez scored his sixth goal in five matches, as Liverpool moved to the top of the Premier League.

The Uruguay international has either scored or assisted in 24 out of 28 games for the Reds this season and the reported Real Madrid target took his tally to 23 assists this term by laying on a goal during Liverpool’s resounding 4-0 win over Tottenham.

Liverpool have scored three or more goals in seven of their last eight matches in the Premier League and having scored twice in the reverse fixture, Luis Suarez looks well placed to continue to fire in the goals for Brendan Rodgers’ title-chasing side this weekend.

Eden Hazard (CHE)

Eden Hazard was unable to pull Chelsea away from a shock defeat at Selhurst Park, as Julian Speroni superbly tipped the Belgian’s curling shot wide of the post.

The Blues midfielder has featured in every single game for Jose Mourinho’s side this term and the west London side will need the Belgium international at his inspirational best if the club are going to keep themselves in the title race following back-to-back defeats in the Premier League and Europe.

Opponents Stoke are unbeaten in five games, but the Blues have not lost at Stamford Bridge all season and Chelsea’s leading light should help the club get back on track this weekend.

Transfer Tips

Christian Eriksen (TOT) – £6.6m

Christian Eriksen will be looking to build on his last appearance at White Hart Lane, after scoring twice in a 3-2 victory over Southampton.

The Danish playmaker has been instrumental for Tim Sherwood’s side in recent weeks, but it’s at White Hart Lane where the player has truly excelled, scoring four of his five goals and making three of five assists in front of the home crowd.

Opponents Sunderland have conceded two or more goals in five of their last six games in the Premier League and Tottenham’s leading light could continue to show his quality at White Hart Lane again on Monday.

David Silva (MCI) – £9.4m

David Silva struck his sixth goal of the Premiership season, as Arsenal fought back to earn a point at the Emirates Stadium.

The Spain international has scored two goals and picked up two assists in his last four outings in the league, form that the Citizens will need to continue if Manuel Pellegrini’s side are to use their games in hand wisely and return to the top of the league over the coming weeks.

Opponents Southampton have conceded six goals in their last three outings away from the south coast and Manchester City’s influential midfielder could be key for the title-contenders this weekend.
