Fantasy Football Tips – Gameweek 29

Chelsea’s Andre Schurrle was the highest point scorer in Gameweek 28, after hitting a hat trick on Saturday as the Blues came away with a 3-1 victory at Craven Cottage.

Elsewhere Luis Suarez finally returned to the Liverpool scoresheet in a 3-0 win away at Southampton, whilst Newcastle’s Moussa Sissoko scored twice in a 4-1 victory away at Hull.

Sportingly Better picks out the best fantasy football tips for Gameweek 29, as Chelsea host Tottenham.

Arsenal, Aston Villa, Everton, Hull, Liverpool, Manchester City, Newcastle, Sunderland, Swansea and West Ham all do not feature during Gameweek 29.

Captain Choices

Robin Van Persie (MUN)

Robin Van Persie scored his fourth goal in five Premier League outings, as Manchester United ended a three-match winless run at Crystal Palace.

The Dutch striker appears to be growing increasingly discontent at Old Trafford and a summer move away from the club looks highly likely, given that the Red Devils are unlikely to qualify for the Champions League next season.

Opponents West Brom have failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their last seven games in the Premiership and Manchester United’s leading marksman will be keen to continue his recent prolificacy in front of goal.

Eden Hazard (CHE)

Eden Hazard maintained his recent form for Chelsea by combining twice with Andre Schurrle, as the Blues extended their lead at the top of the table.

The former Lille playmaker featured for just under 30 minutes for Belgium on Wednesday and the Premier League’s most in-form midfielder will again be central to Jose Mourinho’s plans this weekend.

Opponents Tottenham have won nine games on the road this season, but Hazard’s goalscoring record at Stamford Bridge this term should ensure the Blues come away with all three points on Saturday.

Transfer Tips

Robert Snodgrass (NOR) – £6.0m

Norwich will be looking for a positive response this weekend, with Stoke the visitors to Carrow Road on Saturday.

Robert Snodgrass is expected to feature from the offset despite a slight injury concern to his wrist, with the Canaries looking to extend their unbeaten run to five games at home.

Opponents Stoke have not kept a clean sheet in any of their last six games away from the Britannia Stadium and Norwich’s forgotten man will be desperate to help his side put some much needed points on the board this weekend.

Adam Lallana (SOU) – £8.2m

Adam Lallana provided some much needed spark and creativity for England on Wednesday, as the Southampton midfielder came off the bench to provide the telling cross for Daniel Sturridge.

The England international has picked up three assists and a goal in the Saints last six games away from home and manager Mauricio Pochettino will be eager for that form to continue given recent back-to-back defeats in the Premier League.

Opponents Crystal Palace have failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their last four games in the league and Southampton’s creative midfielder could cause Tony Pulis’ side trouble on Saturday.
