Fantasy Football Tips – Gameweek 13

Manchester City winger Jesus Navas was the highest point scorer in Gameweek 12, after scoring twice and setting up another goal during the Citizens’ 6-0 demolition of Tottenham.

Elsewhere Oscar scored his fifth goal of the season as Chelsea comfortably beat West Ham and Romelu Lukaku kept Everton’s unbeaten run at Goodison Park in-tact with a brace during the Merseyside derby.

Sportingly Better picks out the best fantasy football tips for Gameweek 13, as Tottenham host Manchester United.

Captain Choices

Sergio Aguero (MCI)

Sergio Aguero’s brace at the Etihad Stadium last weekend fired the Argentinean striker to the top of the Premier League goalscoring charts, as Manchester City thumped Tottenham 6-0.

The former Atletico Madrid striker has scored nine goals in his last seven league appearances for the Citizens, leaving our ante-post betting tip on Aguero to claim the Golden Boot in good stead.

Opponents Swansea have failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their last three games in the league and the Swans‘ outing against Valencia in the Europa League on Thursday could see Aguero take advantage of the Welsh side’s tired backline.

Luis Suarez (LIV)

Luis Suarez was on target for the second match in a row, as Liverpool fought out an entertaining match at Goodison Park.

Picked in last week’s fantasy football tips, Suarez has now scored nine goals in just seven matches and the return to fitness of Philippe Coutinho should aid the Uruguayan striker further over the coming weeks.

Opponents Hull have kept just one clean sheet in their last five Premier League outings and the Reds in-form striker is likely to be Brendan Rodgers’ main protagonist once again this weekend.

Transfer Tips

Loic Remy (NEW) – £8.1m

Loic Remy took advantage of some poor defending last weekend, as Newcastle beat troubled Norwich City at St James Park.

The France international scored for the third consecutive match in the league, as the on-loan QPR forward scored his eighth goal of the season.

Opponents West Brom have conceded eight goals in their last four outings and Newcastle’s in-form striker looks likely to continue his hot goalscoring streak on Saturday.

Wojciech Szczesny (ARS) – £5.5m

Wojciech Szczesny picked up his fourth clean sheet of the season, as league leaders Arsenal beat high-flying Southampton at the Emirates Stadium.

The Poland international signed a new long-term contract last week and Tuesday night’s shut-out against Marseille in the Champions League will have likely buoyed the goalkeeper even further.

Opponents Cardiff have failed to score in two of their last four matches in the Premier League and Arsene Wenger’s increasingly accomplished side look likely to keep the Bluebirds at bay on Saturday.
