It’s all about the B’s this weekend with Bilbao and Bayer Leverkusen
A couple of weeks ago I made good profits on betting on Athletic Bilbao to win at half time and this weekend where the statistic then was being ahead at half time in 8 out of 9 matches. That statistic now stands at 10 in 11 matches and this week are at home to Almeria. Much of this success has come through their firepower and in particular star striker Fernando Llorente who has scored 7 goals so far this campaign.

In Germany Bayer Leverkusen take on St Pauli. Bayer sit currently 3rd in the table and boast the second best away record in the league behind leaders Dortmund. Bayer have won 4 of their 5 away games and including their last 3, whilst St Pauli have struggled at home losing 3 of 5.

A general rule in betting for me this season has been to stay away both Newcastle and the Football Championship league, with both seemingly unpredictable and inconsistent. Looking into League One and the sleeping giant Sheffield Wednesday who are subject of reported takeover interest by Milan Mandaric host Rochdale who suffered a shock by being knocked out of the FA Cup by FC of Manchester. Wednesday have struggled at home this season but last time out they have comprehensively beat Hartlepool 4-1. They also dispatched Southport in the televised FA Cup game, while Rochdale are in poor form away from home losing 3 of their last 4 games.
