Football Accumulator Tips – 25-26 January

Selections from the Bundesliga, Ligue 1 and FA Cup make up the bets for this weekend’s football accumulator tips on Sportingly Better, returning odds of 5.05.

Accumulator Tips

Wolfsburg (1.55) v Hannover (5.50); Draw (4.20)

Champions League hopefuls Wolfsburg host poor travelling Hannover on Saturday, as the Bundesliga returns from it’s winter break.

Dieter Hecking’s side have won six of their opening eight matches at the Volkswagen Arena this season, but their record before the winter break was encouraging, with die Wolfe producing a nine-match unbeaten run.

New signing Kevin De Bruyne could make his debut on the left hand side of midfield, with Wolfsburg’s meeting with Hannover producing some high-scoring encounters over the last eight games at the Volkswagen Arena.

Opponents Hannover will be looking to avoid a tenth successive defeat away from home after suffering a 2-1 defeat at relegation rivals Freiburg last time out.

A win for Wolfsburg would cement their claims for a top-four position in the Bundesliga this year and after splashing the cash on De Bruyne, the home side should see their ambition continue with victory on Saturday.

Wigan (2.25) v Crystal Palace (3.40); Draw (3.50)

Wigan’s 3-0 defeat away at Doncaster ended Uwe Rosler’s impressive start as manager of the Latics, with the German coach targeting progression in the FA Cup on Saturday.

FA Cup holders Wigan are undefeated in their last nine matches in the competition, history which the players and club will not want to slip away too easily.

Opponents Crystal Palace are expected to make a number of changes in the cup this weekend, with a massive tie against Hull at Selhurst Park on Tuesday.

Wigan have won three of their last five matches in the league and the Championship side remain a good price to knock-out their Premier League opponents this weekend.

Lyon (1.45) v Evian Thonon Gaillard (7.50); Draw (4.00)

Remi Garde will be hoping to extend Lyon’s six-game unbeaten run, after a 2-0 victory away at Reims.

Les Gones have rekindled their attacking instincts by scoring two or more goals in each of their last five matches in Ligue 1, but the injury to striker Yassine Benzia should not affect the hosts too much over the next few weeks.

Opponents Evian have failed to win any of their last five games away from home, but the goaless draw with Rennes last time out did at least move the club four points clear of the drop zone.

Lyon are undefeated in their last nine matches at the Stade de Gerland and the hosts will need to extend that record at home if they are to climb up the table and maintain their hopes of a European place this season.
