Fantasy Football Tips – Gamweek 36
Manchester City’s Kelechi Iheanacho scored twice as the Citizens cruised past Stoke at the Etihad Stadium last Saturday.
Sportingly Better picks out the best fantasy football tips for Gameweek 36, as Chelsea face Tottenham.
Captain Choices
Sergio Aguero (MCI)
Sergio Aguero scored for the fifth consecutive game, as Manchester City comfortably beat Stoke last time out.
The Argentina international now sits just one goal behind Harry Kane in the race for the Premier League Golden Boot, with head coach Manuel Pellegrini recently declaring the striker as the “best in the league”.
Manchester City travel to Southampton in Gameweek 36 and the club will need Aguero to continue his scoring run if the Citizens are to maintain their hold on a top-four finish.
Alexis Sanchez (ARS)
Despite Arsenal’s blip in form, Chile international Alexis Sanchez has proved prolific in front of goal with six goals in his last seven games for the club.
Currently the most in-form player in the Premier League, Sanchez will find plenty of favour this Gameweek as the Gunners face Norwich who are struggling to keep their top flight status.
Sanchez picked up an assist in the reverse fixture against the Canaries back in November and the player’s current form is simply too good to ignore.
Transfer Tips
Andy Carroll (WHU) – £6.4m
A late burst of form has seen Andy Carroll score six goals in six games for the Hammers, as Slaven Bilic’s side chase down a European place.
The former Newcastle striker will look to continue his goalscoring run against West Brom at the Hawthorns, with West Ham looking to protect a nine-game unbeaten run.
Although seemingly out of the reckoning for the England squad for the European Championship, Carroll could be a good addition with West Ham playing twice next gameweek.
Troy Deeney (WAT) – £5.2m
Despite the disappointment in the FA Cup semi-final against Crystal Palace, Hornets striker Troy Deeney was arguably the best player on the pitch.
Watford welcome bottom-club Aston Villa to Vicarage Road and given the London club’s run of fixtures and double gameweek next, drafting in the Hornet’s chief penalty taker and main attacking threat may pay dividends.
ON THE WATCHLIST: Alex Iwobi (ARS) – £4.6m
