Fantasy Football Tips – Gameweek 35
Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero made the most of the double gameweek, scoring a hattrick in a 3-0 win at Stamford Bridge followed by a goal against Newcastle on Tuesday.
Sportingly Better picks out the best fantasy football tips for Gameweek 35, as Liverpool host Newcastle.
Crystal Palace, Everton, Manchester United, Norwich, Watford and West Ham all do not feature in Gameweek 35.
Captain Choices
Sergio Aguero (MCI)
Sergio Aguero moved to within two goals of top scorer Harry Kane after firing in four goals during Gameweek 34.
Three goals at Chelsea led Manuel Pellegrini to label his striker as the “best in the league”, with the attacker following up the claim with another strike against Newcastle on Tuesday.
Aguero has now scored six goals in his last four games; reaching 100 goals in just 147 Premier League appearances and given Stoke have conceded 10 goals in their last three games, expect the striker to be on the scoresheet again this Saturday.
Harry Kane (TOT)
A brace at the Britannia Stadium last weekend, helped Tottenham close the gap on Leicester, as Harry Kane conceded that Spurs are hunting down the league leaders in the Premier League table.
Named in the PFA Team of the Year, Kane has now scored eight goals in his last seven Premier League appearances and the England international will be eager to continue his run of form heading into the European Championships this summer.
Kane has proved he is much more than a one-season wonder and the striker will be desperate to help his side overthrow Leicester to lift the Premiership title.
Transfer Tips
Dele Alli (TOT) – £6.2m
Arguably this season’s most emerging talent, England international Dele Alli looks sure to book his place in the England squad after being named in the PFA Team of the Year.
The former MK Dons midfielder scored twice last time out in the Potteries to take his tally up to 10 goals for the season.
Alli scored in the reverse fixture against West Brom back in December and the burgeoning midfielder looks set to continue to earn the plaudits again this weekend.
Aleksandar Kolarov (MCI) – £5.9m
Aleksandar Kolarov’s dead-ball delivery provided the perfect assist for Sergio Aguero, as Manchester City were held to a 1-1 draw at St James’ Park.
The powerful left back picked up an assist in the Citizens last match at the Etihad Stadium and the defender will be keen to add to his recent form against Stoke on Saturday.
ON THE WATCHLIST: Daniel Sturridge (LIV) – £10.0m
