Fantasy Football Tips – Gameweek 34
Crystal Palace’s Wayne Hennessey picked up two clean sheets during Gameweek 33, as Alan Pardew’s side beat Norwich before holding Everton to a draw.
Sportingly Better picks out the best fantasy football tips for Gameweek 34, as Chelsea host Manchester City.
Newcastle, Manchester City, West Ham, Watford, Liverpool, Everton, Manchester United, Crystal Palace, Arsenal and West Brom all play twice during Gameweek 34.
Captain Choices
Sergio Aguero (MCI)
Sergio Aguero slotted in his 18th goal of the season as Manchester City came away with a 2-1 victory against West Brom at the Etihad Stadium.
The Argentina international will come up against Chelsea and Newcastle in Gameweek 34 and given the club’s need to secure Champions League football, Aguero will be tasked with solidifying the club’s hold on fourth spot.
Aguero scored five goals against Newcastle in the reverse fixture back in October, with the striker also having found the net against Chelsea in a 3-0 win at the Etihad Stadium earlier in the season.
Alexis Sanchez (ARS)
One of the Premier League’s most in-form players, Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez scored his third goal in four games, as the Gunners were held by West Ham in a thrilling 3-3 draw at Upton Park.
The Chile international will face both Crystal Palace and West Brom in Gameweek 34 and that double fixture run will see the player favoured by many for the captain’s armband this gameweek.
Despite missing a large period of the busy festive campaign through injury, Sanchez has still managed nine goals in the league and the in-form forward looks set to add to that tally this weekend.
Transfer Tips
Alex Iwobi (ARS) – £4.6m
Emerging talent Alex Iwobi picked up two assists at Upton Park, as Arsenal fought back to pick up a point against West Ham.
The Nigerian-born forward picked up strikes against Watford and Everton in the two previous games before that and priced at just £4.6m, Iwobi remains an interesting transfer as the fifth midfielder, especially given the Gunners’ run of fixtures between now and the end of the season.
Iwobi is selected by just 3.2% of managers and an influx of transfers is likely to see the player’s price rise further as a low risk differential.
Divock Origi (LIV) – £5.4m
Divock Origi followed up his two goals against Stoke last time out, with a further strike in the Europa League as Liverpool produced a memorable night at Anfield to progress into the Europa League semi-finals.
The Belgium international has found favour under coach Jurgen Klopp in recent weeks with the forward expected to feature for the Reds in a large part of the clubs remaining fixtures this season.
Origi has been transferred in by less than 1% of fantasy managers and the player remains an interesting differential as the third-striking option.
ON THE WATCHLIST: Aleksandar Mitrovic (NEW) – £6.2m
