Fantasy Football Tips – Gameweek 29

Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino scored one goal and made another as Liverpool exacted revenge from their penalty shoot-out defeat to Manchester City in the Capital One Cup Final.

Sportingly Better picks out the best fantasy football tips for Gameweek 29, as Tottenham host Arsenal.

Captain Choices

Sergio Aguero (MCI)

Sergio Aguero will be looking to fire Manchester City back into the title race, after a surprise defeat against Liverpool last time out.

The Argentinean forward has failed to score against Tottenham and Liverpool, but prior to that the striker had scored seven goals in six Premier League matches.

Hosts Manchester City have scored at least three goals in seven of their last eight home matches against Aston Villa in all competitions and Aguero should put arguably one of the worst teams in Premier League history to the sword on Saturday.

Diego Costa (CHE)

Diego Costa’s goal against Norwich helped Chelsea continue their unbeaten run to 12 games, as the Spain international scored his eighth Premier League goal in 11 outings.

The former Atletico Madrid striker has now hit 11 goals; nine shy of his haul in Chelsea’s title-winning campaign last season.

Hosts Chelsea have scored at least two goals in five of their last six matches against Stoke and Costa’s recent form should see the striker get in on the action to maintain Chelsea’s continual climb up the Premier League table.

Transfer Tips

Roberto Firmino (LIV) – £8.1m

The Premier League’s most in-form player produced a man of the match performance as Liverpool comfortably beat Manchester City 3-0 at Anfield.

The Brazil international has scored picked up an assist in each of his last three games for the club, whilst six goals in seven games highlights the player’s blossoming return for Jurgen Klopp.

Visitors Crystal Palace have conceded at least two goals in their last four matches in the Premier League and the in-form Firmino should be too hot to handle for the Eagles on Sunday.

Dimitri Payet (WHU) – £8.3m

Dimitri Payet may have been quick to downplay his “signing of the season” tag, but the France international has been a huge part of West Ham’s success this season.

The midfielder put in the corner for Michail Antonio’s goal that moved the Hammers to within one point of Manchester City in fourth place.

Payet has scored seven goals and made seven more and the talented Frenchman should again show his quality at Goodison Park this weekend.
