Fantasy Football Tips – Gameweek 27

Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho picked up a hat-trick of assists against bottom side Aston Villa, as the Reds rolled out 6-0 winners.

Sportingly Better picks out the best fantasy football tips for Gameweek 27, as Manchester United host Arsenal.

Captain Choices

Jamie Vardy (LEI)

Jamie Vardy scored his 19th goal of the season, as league leaders Leicester were beaten by a dramatic late goal at the Emirates Stadium.

The England international’s hotly-disputed penalty gave the striker his fourth goal in as many Premier League games and the in-form forward will be confident of extending that run this weekend as the Foxes take on Norwich at home.

The visitors have conceded at least two goals in each of their last six games in the league and the hosts will be fully refreshed to continue their dreams after having a week off from the FA Cup last weekend.

Harry Kane (TOT)

Harry Kane fired his fifth goal in five games, as Tottenham moved to within two points of league leaders Leicester with a 2-1 victory away at Manchester City.

The England international missed Tottenham’s game against Fiorentina in the Europa League with a broken nose, but the forward is likely to be fit for Sunday’s match against Swansea according to manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Opponents Swansea have failed to win any of their last three matches in all competitions and despite a slight upturn in fortunes, Francisco Guidolin still has a tough job to do at the Liberty Stadium.

Kane sits just five goals shy of last year’s tally of 21 goals and the English forward’s form looks encouraging ahead of Gameweek 27.

Transfer Tips

Dimitri Payet (WHU) – £8.3m

Dimitri Payet produced yet another virtuoso display as West Ham came from behind to run out comfortable 5-1 winners against Blackburn in the FA Cup.

The summer capture has been wisely tied down to a new contract at Upton Park, with the club keen to keep their prize asset who has scored seven goals and picked up six assists in the league, despite missing seven straight games in December with an injury.

Opponents Sunderland have conceded at least two goals in each of their last six away games in the Premier League and Payet’s class will likely show yet again for the Hammers this weekend.

Diego Costa (CHE) – £10.6m

Highlighted in Gameweek 26’s fantasy football tips, Diego Costa backed our selection with his tenth goal of the season, as Chelsea strolled to a 5-1 victory against Newcastle.

The Spain international has now scored seven goals in his last nine appearances in the Premier League, but Saturday’s match with Southampton will be tough, with the Saints having kept a clean sheet in each of their last six games.
