Fantasy Football Tips – Gameweek 14

Everton’s Ross Barkley scored a brace in a resounding 4-0 win over bottom club Aston Villa, whilst Leicester’s Jamie Vardy equaled Ruud van Nistelrooy’s record of scoring for the tenth consecutive Premier League match.

Sportingly Better picks out the best fantasy football tips for Gameweek 14, as Tottenham host Chelsea at White Hart Lane.Liverpool.

Captain Choices

Romelu Lukaku (EVE)

A superb captain choice last gameweek, Everton’s Romelu Lukaku has now scored four goals in his last three games for the Toffees.

Roberto Martinez’s side is beginning to click into gear, with England international Ross Barkley instrumental in last weekend’s victory, whilst summer recruit Gerard Deulofeu continues to be a livewire and provide a spark for the Merseyside club.

Opponents Bournemouth are yet to keep a clean sheet all season and Everton’s burgeoning Belgian striker looks likely to continue his recent run of scoring seven goals in seven Premier League games.

Mesut Ozil (ARS)

A growing fantasy favourite, Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil has registered an assist in a record seven consecutive Premier League games.

The German maestro’s assist tally now stands at 11, five more than any other player and with Arsenal travelling to Carrow Road this weekend, Ozil looks poised to carry on contributing for the Gunners cause this season.

Opponents Norwich have kept only one clean sheet this season and Ozil’s instrumental form should see Arsene Wenger’s side comfortably prevail on Sunday.

Transfer Tips

Ross Barkley (EVE) – £7.0m

Ross Barkley’s brace against Aston Villa last weekend has left the midfielder involved with nine of Everton’s goals (five goals and four assists), more than the player has contributed in any other season.

Barkley has formed part of Everton’s in-form attacking trio, which boasts the league’s best chance conversion, with one in every five attempts resulting in a goal.

Opponents Bournemouth have the worst defensive record in the league with 27 goals conceded and Barkley and co look likely to cause Eddie Howe’s side further problems at Dean Court this weekend.

Alberto Moreno (LIV) – £4.9m

Liverpool’s improvement under Jurgen Klopp continues to gather credibility, after a fine win at the Etihad Stadium last weekend.

Left back Alberto Moreno has now started the last eight matches for the Reds and at £4.9m remains a cheap way into the Liverpool backline.

Opponents Swansea have won just one of their last nine matches in the Premier League and with Garry Monk under pressure, expect the feel-good factor at Liverpool to continue.
