Fantasy Football Tips – Gameweek 13

Manchester United’s Jesse Lingard scored his first goal for the club as the Red Devils brushed aside West Brom before the international break, whilst Leicester’s Jamie Vardy scored for the ninth match in a row as the Foxes beat newly-promoted Watford.

Sportingly Better picks out the best fantasy football tips for Gameweek 13, as league leaders Manchester City host Liverpool.

Captain Choices

Romelu Lukaku (EVE)

Romelu Lukaku scored for the seventh consecutive match against West Ham, as the Toffees consolidated their position in the top half of the table.

The Belgium international has been transferred in during this round more than any other player and with Everton up against Aston Villa this weekend, Lukaku will fancy adding to his tally of seven Premier League goals this season.

The Merseyside club have scored two or more goals in each of their last six encounters against Aston Villa in all competitions and if Roberto Martinez’s side are to produce that return again, then it is very likely that Lukaku will be in amongst the goals.

Harry Kane (TOT)

Tottenham’s momentum continued to grow, as Harry Kane broke clear in the north London derby to score for the third consecutive Premier League match.

Kane’s tally for this season has now climbed up to six league goals and with West Ham having failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their last eight league matches, the England international will be confident for continuing his recent goalscoring run.

Kane goes into Gameweek 13 as the most in-form player in the Premiership and will be eager to keep Spurs on the coattails of the Champions League places.

Transfer Tips

Phillipe Coutinho (LIV) – £8.2m

Phillipe Coutinho’s curling effort was not enough to prevent Liverpool’s unbeaten run under Jurgen Klopp alive after a surprise 2-1 defeat at home to Crystal Palace.

The Brazilian playmaker has scored four goals for the club and continues to be a key-part for the Reds likely renaissance under their new German coach.

Coutinho has scored three goals in four Premier League appearances against Manchester City and the Reds main creative spark looks the most likely candidate to cause the league leaders trouble again on Saturday.

Mesut Ozil (ARS) – £8.9m

For a player who has already picked up 10 assists in just 11 Premier League starts, German midfielder Mesut Ozil appears incredibly well priced at £8.9m, with almost a quarter of all fantasy managers now boasting the Arsenal player.

Mesut Ozil has created the most chances in the Premier League this season (54) and is the first player to assist a goal in six consecutive matches. That form is likely to continue again this weekend at The Hawthorns.
