FA Cup 4th Round Special
After the usual cupsets in round 3 of the FA Cup, caution is advised as teams look to build on a giant killing or begin to push for a successful cup run.
Emerging contenders Tottenham have increased their quality and strength even further since the last round of the FA Cup with the addition of South African midfielder Steven Pienaar from Everton. No matter what team Harry Redknapp will decide to put out Tottenham will surely fancy their chances of progressing to the next round, especially as Fulham have never beaten Tottenham in the FA Cup. But Fulham are a well organised outfit, especially at Craven Cottage where only Everton and Sunderland have stopped Mark Hughes side scoring at home this season. In the last round Fulham won 6-2 against Peterborough whilst Spurs won 3-0 at home to Charlton. But Tottenham are an attacking outfit, even away from home where only West Ham and Manchester United have stopped them from scoring in all competitions and I think both sides will likely hit the back of the net on Sunday.
Both Teams to Score (Fulham v Tottenham) @1.72
Apart from the 4-2 loss against Championship contenders Cardiff last time out, Watford have been in top form with a 7 match winning sequence. Malky Mackay’s side have a few cup-tied loanees (Andros Townsend and Josh Walker) but there should still be enough enthusiastic youth about Watford to beat League One leaders Brighton. Brighton are some 6 points clear but are a little sketchy away from the Withdean winning only 1 of the last 5 games. Both sides are in good form at the right end of the table but Watford should have just a bit too much about them for the Seagulls.
