European Weekend Football Tips – 29th & 30th October
Last weekend we tipped Siena’s match against Cesena to finish with less than 3 goals and the Robur picked up a 2-0 win; only their second win of the Calcio season. During the week, Siena failed to beat strugglers Novara after a 1-1 draw, and only one of Siena’s games this season has ended with 3 goals or more.
Emanuele Calaio has fired in 4 goals for Siena so far this campaign and the Italian striker may represent the greatest threat to opponents Chievo and also this bet.
But the Mussi Volanti’s last 4 games have witnessed just 2 goals in total and Chievo themselves have not scored in over 360 minutes of football.
Under 2.5 goals (Siena v Chievo) @1.50
Granada scored 71 goals last season in the Spanish Segunda and secured promotion via the playoffs, but goals for El Graná seem a long way away this term. Granada have managed just 2 goals in just 9 La Liga games so far and there is very little at present that would suggest that Fabri Gonzalez’s side will avoid the drop.
Granada travel to Sevilla whose backline can only be bettered by Barcelona and surprise package Levante. Sevilla are unbeaten in La Liga, although had to secure a last minute equaliser against Racing Santander midweek to preserve their unbeaten start to the season. Granada played on Tuesday with 9 men after two dismissals against Barcelona and will have to contend with the suspensions of Romero and Benitez. With Granada yet to score away from home, Sevilla will fancy their chances of a shut out on Monday.
